Our curriculum focuses on safe progressions that require active problem solving. This combination keeps students safe, competent, and engaged as they begin building a foundation of capable movement.

Kids should try parkour for several reasons:

  1. Physical Fitness: Parkour requires full-body movement and develops strength, agility, balance, and coordination. It's an excellent way for kids to stay active and develop their physical capabilities.

  2. Creativity and Problem-Solving: Parkour encourages creativity and problem-solving as participants navigate obstacles and find unique ways to move through their environment. It promotes thinking on their feet and adapting to different challenges.

  3. Self-Confidence: As children master new moves and overcome obstacles, their confidence grows. Parkour offers a sense of accomplishment and empowerment, boosting self-esteem.

  4. Risk Assessment: Parkour teaches kids how to assess risks and make quick decisions about their movements, fostering a sense of responsibility and safety awareness.

  5. Community and Camaraderie: Parkour involves training with others, which builds a sense of community and camaraderie. Kids can learn from more experienced practitioners and support each other in their progress.

  6. Accessibility: Parkour can be practiced in various environments, such as urban landscapes, playgrounds, or purpose-built parks. This accessibility means that kids can engage in parkour almost anywhere, fostering a deeper connection with their surroundings.

  7. Fun and Enjoyment: Ultimately, parkour is fun! It offers kids a chance to explore their physical capabilities in a dynamic and exciting way, making exercise enjoyable and engaging.
